From Page to Life: A Stunning Reze Cosplay Brings Chainsaw Man to the Forefront

The Bomb Devil confirms their absolute supremacy in an accurate Chainsaw Man cosplay that features the shaved head of our story’s protagonist Denji.

The Bomb Girl is depicted in all her glory by the Italian costume master Higashi. The character is also holding the severed head of Denji on her lap. Cosplayers emphasized accuracy when making the costume because they assert that when wearing the helmet “they cannot be able to see anything.”

Higashi is influenced by a variety of famous characters in popular culture. Their Reddit account features incredible recreations of 2B from Nier: Automata and Hu Tao and Shenhe from Genshin Impact. In addition, the Italian cosplayer isn’t alone in one recently bringing the Bomb Girl to life. A Reddit user whose name is tsubasakiiii uploaded images of their version of the Reze that has not been changed.

Chainsaw Man’s Beginnings

Tatsuki Fujimoto’s ongoing Chainsaw Manmanga first was published in Shueisha’s Weekly Shonen Jump in December 2018 before moving to Shonen Jump+ in 2020, where it continues its serialization. The story follows Denji an extremely poor young man who works dangerous and dangerous jobs to pay off his dead father’s huge debt. After his mafia bosses deceive the man and leave the man, Denji is recruited by an unsavory organization. He utilizes his skills to turn his head and limbs into chainsaws to hunt down and kill creatures.

Despite making its debut fairly recently, Chainsaw Man already stands as the top-selling manga of all time alongside classics such as Hiro Mashima’s Rave Master and Clamp’s Cardcaptor Sakura. The series Fujimoto has also earned top positions on the New York Times Bestsellers list numerous times and has won multiple prizes, including Best Shonen Manga at the Shogakukan Manga Awards in 2021 and Best Manga at the Harvey Awards in 2021 and 2022.

The story’s anime adaptation by studio MAPPA ( Attack on Titan The Final Season) originally ran its first season from October through December 2022. It’s not known whether there will be a second season of the show since it is a massive disappointment. Chainsaw Man features Kikunosuke Asato as Denji, Mariya se as Himeno (Fairy Tail), Shogo Sakata as Aki (Fire Force), and Tomori Kusunoki as Makima (The Misfits at Demon King Academy).

The manga Chainsaw Man is distributed by VIZ Media in North America, while MAPPA’s series of anime is available on Crunchyroll and Hulu.
